MTB First Aid Course

July 20-22, 2018

Timber Trail Lodge is teaming up with Peak Safety to provide an outdoor first aid course designed for mountain bikers. Peak Safety is one of New Zealand's best known outdoor safety providers, providing training in sectors including alpine, marine and forestry. They are especially well known in mountain biking circles for the great work they do on the trails around Rotorua. The instructor will be a professional Mountain Bike medic with extensive experience managing mountain bike emergencies.

The weekend package provides a great mix of riding, learning and relaxation.

This course is suitable for people who haven’t had previous outdoor first aid training, or for those who need a refresher after previous courses.

Spaces are limited so book now!

On Friday evening drive to the end of the Timber Trail at Ongarue, and leave your vehicle there with Epic Cycle Adventures.

Shuttle Arrive to Timber Trail Lodge, enjoy dinner, a quiet evening getting to know everyone and a comfortable night’s sleep.

The course will start bright and early Saturday morning and run all day. It will include a mix of seminar style presentations and outdoor emergency scenarios.

Afterwards enjoy a bit more relaxation, or perhaps go for a night ride before, or after, dinner.
